What are resin ribbons suitable for?
The colour of resin ribbons is transferred in a thermal transfer printer with high printing energy. The print is then particularly smudge-proof, scratch-resistant and resistant to petrol, alcohol and some solvents. On smooth plastic surfaces, resin ribbons deliver sharp-edged print results with extreme opacity and durability. They are primarily used for demanding labels with high requirements, e.g. in the chemical or automotive industries.
